About Jed Steele:
As owner and winemaker of Steele Wines, Jed has over 40 years of experience in the California wine making industry. Starting his journey in 1968 as a cellar worker at Stony Hill, Steele discovered wine making to be more than a job, but a lifelong passion. After attending UC Davis for a Master’s Degree in Enology, he went on help create two wineries before finally opening his own, Steele Wines, in 1991. Today, Steele Wine produces chardonnay, pinot noir, syrah, zinfandel, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, pinot blanc, and viognier wine.
