CASA of The River Region is hosting the Cocktails for CASA Sweethearts Ball on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 7 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. to give those in the hospitality industry an opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The ball held at Headliners will give all who worked through the holiday weekend an opportunity to celebrate the most romantic day of the year however, this party is open to everyone.

The music starts at 7 p.m., and will feature DJ Ryan Cox, and bands This That and the Other plus Yardsale. Tickets will be sold for $10, and will include a raffle ticket, with proceeds benefitting CASA of The River. Additional raffle tickets will be sold throughout the night for $1.

Sponsors of the event include the Kentucky Restaurant Association, Derby Pie ®, Wood-Eye Promotions, and Dr. Guitar.

CASA of the River Region is a private, non-profit organization that trains and supports volunteer advocates who are appointed by the Family Courts to work on behalf of abused and neglected children in Jefferson, Henry, Oldham, Trimble, Shelby and Spencer counties. Every year in our community more than 3,500 innocent children appear before a family court judge.
