Last Sunday, Captain’s Quarters welcomed back Sizzle’n Summer Sunday’s with the debut of DJ Duece Leader from 10pm – 2am on the patio. This event was a perfect kick off to the summer, and despite a slight, momentary sprinkle of rain, the weather was flawless.
A large crowd attended this first Sunday celebration, so both drink and restroom lines were long. Additional parking was available in a nearby field for ten dollars, which included a bus that dropped guests off at the door.
The DJ was very versatile and played a variety of different types of music to please the crowd. Whether you wanted to get down on the dance floor or have a casual conversation with friends by the river, there was something for everyone to enjoy. I recommend Captains Quarter’s Sizzle’n Summer Sunday’s for summertime fun.
