    1. Is there a cost to submit my event?


    There is no charge to submit your event to the calendar, but there is a small charge to enhance your listing with a logo and more information. If you would like your event to be enhanced contact our office at 502-625-0100 or s/files/storyimages/your request through our contact form by clicking here





    2. When will my event be posted in the calendar?


    Your event will be posted after being reviewed by someone on the Louisville.com staff



    3. By providing my event will it be in THE WEEKENDER listings?


    There is a chance but no guarantee. The Weekender events are decided upon by the Louisville.com staff to better serve our Weekender subscribers





    4. What does the "organization" mean in the form?


    The organization is the organization that the event is taking place. In some cases there won't be an organization



    5. Can I select multiple categories?


    Yes, we encourage you to select the categories that best fit your event.



    6. What is the difference between Event Description, Event Blurb and Detailed Description?


    Event Description: This will give information regarding the event such as what is going to be there such as art & craft booth, concert and other information. There is a 50 word limit.


    Event Blurb: This is only available for enhanced listings. It is an area that can have a testimonial, quote or descriptive account of the event. There is a 50 word limit.


    Detailed Description: This area is availabe only for enhanced listings. In this area you can provided detailed information regarding the timeline of the events that are occuring, a concert playlist and so on. It basically gives you more space to describe your event.



    7. How do I get my image re-sized?


    This option is available for enhanced listings only. The logo must be no larger than 100x80 pixels at 72 dpi. If you have trouble resizing your image you may email it to calendar@louisville.com after submitting your event and assistance will be given.



    8. Do I have to fill out the contact information?


    Yes, this information is NOT used for any other purpose than the calendar and it won't be published. Louisville.com will only use the information if something in the calendar event listing that you put up has a mistake or so on. For enhanced listings, contact will be made regarding payment before posting the event.
