Louisville's celebration of Oktoberfest originally got it's start in the historic Louisville neighborhood of Butchertown. After a decade of non existence in Butchertown, it returns Saturday, Oct. 23 at the Pointe (where Halfway to Forecastle was held this year). 

The event will feature performances by Babyfishmouth, Supertruck and The Bad Reeds. There will also be plenty of German beers (Beck's will be the official sponsor) and food available. Proceeds will benefit the Butchertown Neighborhood Association.
