Do you have an inner she-devil? Perhaps you’ve always wanted to show your city pride by dressing up as your favorite local character. Browning’s Restaurant and Brewery has an event that has all bases covered with the “Vixens and Ville-ains” Halloween Eve party on Friday, Oct. 30 from 7 to 11 p.m. The cost is $20 at the door and will benefit J. Graham Brown Cancer Center. The cover charge pays for an appetizer buffet created by chef Anoosh Shariat and a goody bag. DJ Matt Anthony from WFPK will keep the party hopping. While all guests are encouraged to dress up in costume as their favorite vixen or Louisville celebrity, those who want to rock out can compete in the costume contest at 8 p.m. Special guest judges David Dominé, author of Ghosts of Old Louisville and Haunts of Old Louisville, The Voice Tribune’s Angie Fenton and Karen Shane from Republic National Distributing Company will decide who gets to take home the grand prize: a limited edition Southern Comfort electric guitar.
