Spring arrives early at The Brown Hotel with the March 6 launch of the new spring menu for the popular Sunday Tea in the Grand Lobby. Spend a romantic and elegant afternoon in the historic lobby of The Brown Hotel. The Sunday Tea includes the Classical Hour of Piano from 4:00 to 5:00 pm, featuring Ms. Nada Loutfi playing the music of the greatest piano composers.

Ms. Loutfi performs internationally and has been the Artist in Residence of WUOL Classical 90.5, a soloist with The Louisville Orchestra, and has won 1^st Prize at The Paris Conservatory. She has toured the states where she plays in rural areas and gives educational programs for children in schools.

A prix fixe tea menu accompanies the beautiful music. The Brown Hotel Executive Chef Laurent Géroli has created a new spring tea menu with gourmet savory finger sandwiches of: black forest ham on toasted sourdough bread, egg with artichokes and chives on rye, and lemon and red pepper hummus on 9 grain cereal bread. The menu also features a sweet course of:  blueberry scone with Devonshire cream, mini coffee éclair, kiwi tartlet with Yuzu pastry cream, white chocolate mousse brownie, and a selection of Novus teas served in the Grand Lobby. The cost is $15 per person plus 6% sales tax and 20% gratuity. The Sunday Tea seating is at 3:30 pm. Advance reservations for the tea are required, and may be made by calling (502) 736-2996.
