The Brown Hotel announces a special schedule of Opera inspired dinners in The English Grill, plus a Pre-Opera Sunday Brunch in J. Graham’s Café. The Pre-Opera Dinners will set the mood for patrons attending the Brown-Forman 2010 Kentucky Opera Fall Season performances in the nearby Brown Theatre.
“Our Pre-Opera Dinners will be presented in the classical grand style of the English Grill,” said Brown Hotel assistant general manager Guy Genoud, “A terrific prelude to the drama of the Kentucky Opera.”
The 3-course pre fixe dinners created by The Brown Hotel Executive Chef Laurent Géroli, and his four-diamond culinary staff have been designed to set the culinary stage for each opera.
Friday, November 19, 2010, Pre-Opera Dinner for Giacomo Puccini’s “Madame Butterfly” – will begin with Tonjiru (Japanese Pork and Miso Soup), followed by Beef Teriyaki (Udon Noodles, Tomatoes and Spinach), and ending with Green Tea Pound Cake and Kabocha Ice Cream for dessert.
