The Brown Hotel welcomes families to meet Santa Claus and Teddy Bear at the annual Teddy Bear Tea, Saturday, December 4th and Saturday, December 11th at 2 pm in The English Grill.
Children, ages 2 through 12, are invited to experience the grand tradition of Christmas at The Brown Hotel. Executive Chef Laurent Géroli, and his four-diamond culinary staff have created a scrumptious tea menu for the occasion.
The Children’s Christmas Elf Tea will delight all children with delicious hot cocoa and savory bites of cheddar and turkey tortilla rolls, Swiss and ham corn muffins, and egg salad on toasted cheese bread. The pastry chef’s sweets include Santa Claus Sablé, raspberry brownie and pound cake with strawberry compote.
The Adult Traditional Tea begins with the first service of bourbon smoked salmon, raisin bread with chive sour cream, thyme roasted tomato basil pizza, beef tenderloin on an arugula salad with horseradish cream, and roasted olive oil baguette. The second service features home baked orange scones with Devonshire cream and assorted preserves. The final service includes Hazelnut chocolate Nutella cup cakes, raspberry custard tartlets and Key lime bars.
The cost is $30 for adults, $20 for children ages 2-12 years old, plus tax and gratuity. Each child will receive a special holiday Teddy Bear to take home. $10 from each child reservation will benefit the Home of the Innocents and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).
