The Brain Injury Association of Kentucky’s (BIAK) Golf Scramble will be held on Monday, June 29th, 2009, at Polo Fields Golf and Country Club. For the second year in a row, this year’s Golf Scramble is being chaired by Matthew Ayers, Associate Vice President Physician Services, Norton Healthcare.
There will be food, prizes, goodie bags for each participant and a buffet lunch. Each Scramble participant will also have a chance at winning an Audi convertible on the hole-in-one contest, among other exciting prizes. In addition, on a different hole, there will be the opportunity to win a one-year lease on a 2009 Sea Ray Sport boat.
Proceeds from the Scramble will support the BIAK youth prevention efforts. Data from Safe Kids shows that Kentucky ranked second in the number of children killed in summertime accidents. Prevention is the cure for many of these brain injuries.
Registration for this year’s event will begin at 7:30am followed by a shotgun start at 8:30. It is $700 for a foursome and $350 for a twosome.
