Well here comes another new experience for my second trip to the Yum! Center.  Now let's get something very clear, I've never been a fan of modern country.  The last song I can remember remotely liking was "A Country Boy Can Survive", by Hank Williams Jr., and that was due largely in part to one of my oldest friends playing it constantly while we rocked some Tetris in the 80s.

Lately, however, I've taken a few jaunts to Nashville and have been exposed to some decent music although most of the cover bands in those 'tonks still revert to the classics.  I've still never tried on a pair of cowboy boots, am certainly more of a city boy, and have never been hunting.  Mr. Paisley, and company, you have you some work to do.

For country fans, he needs no introduction, having won just about every Country Music Association award out there and even notched some Grammys.  The first thing anyone says about him is that he's a fantastic guitar player, and I can dig on that.  This country-loving gal I know sent me a link to "Alcohol", and some other catchy tunes which were quite entertaining, so I certainly have high expectations for the show, plus any tour dubbed "Beat This Winter" is a gem in my book after the Polar Vortex.

Special guests include Chris Young and Danielle Bradbery, which I've also heard good things about, and it should be quite the spectacle!  All the country people I know like to party too so grab lower level seats while you can. Don't forget to check Louisville.com for my show review and photographs from the performance!
