
This Saturday, Feb. 19 country superstar Brad Paisley brings his "H2O Frozen Over Tour" to the KFC Yum Center.
Paisley has won a boatload of awards for his music over the years, including three Grammys, he has been named best Male Vocalist for the last three years by the Country Music Association and has also received Album of the Year honors from both the CMA and the ACM.
Paisley, a West Virginia native, has a steadiness and work ethic to be admired. He has been singing and picking since he was a youngster, and by the age of 10 he was playing local events. He continued working on his music while attending West Liberty State College in WV and then Belmont University in Nashville. After signing with Arista Nashville, he didn't miss a beat on his way to country music fame. Paisley's latest album is American Saturday Night (2009), which spawned three number one singles, including the title track.
Paisley is joined by cross-over artist Darius Rucker (former frontman of Hootie and the Blowfish) and newcomer Jerrod Nieman.
Saturday's show begins at 7:30 PM. Tickets are on sale ($59.75, $29.75 Reserved Seating) at the Kentucky Exposition Center, Kentucky International Convention Center, and KFC Yum! Center ticket offices and all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are also available by calling 1-800-745-3000.
