The band Bowling for Soup turns 21 this year! To celebrate, they’ve gone on a tour around the country. Next week they’ll be stopping by Louisville's Mercury Ballroom.

Bowling for Soup released “Songs People Actually Liked Volume 1” for their 20th anniversary, comprised of 17 re-recorded songs and one new track.  Songs on the album included hits such as “Girl All the Bad Guys Want,” “Punk Rock 101,” and so many more. As a big punk rock fan in high school, I hope to hear “1985” and “Almost,” but my inner child would also love to hear the Phineas and Ferb theme song “Today is Gonna be a Great Day” at the concert!

The Bowling for Soup concert begins at 8pm on Thursday, June 25th. General admission is only $17.50 ($22 with fees included). The Dollyrots and Ivory Tribes will open the show. For more information about the band, visit bowlingforsoup.com. Visit mercuryballroom.com, for more information about the concert and their other upcoming shows.
