The Frazier Museum presents "Booth and the Bard: An American Tragedy," in conjunction with the English Speaking Union. John Andrews, president of the Shakespeare Guild in Washington D.C., will bring a fresh perspective on playwright William Shakespeare and his role in one of the most dramatic events in American history, the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. Andrews will present stirring material on John Wilkes Booth and his family, the President and on influential works such as Hamlet, Julius Caesar and Macbeth. Andrews's lecture will be followed by a performance of the museum's three-person interpretation, "Sic Semper Tyrannis: The Life of John Wilkes Booth."
