Blue Apple Players, a nonprofit children's theater organization, annual benefit “Louisville Salutes Blue Apple on Broadway,” will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 7 PM at The Brown Theatre, 315 W. Broadway. Local celebrities and community leaders will perform fun-filled songs from Blue Apple’s original musicals. This year's performers include David Jones, Jr. and Mary Gwen Wheeler, John Yarmuth, Jim Bulliet with Karen Blue, Tommy Lee, Carla Sue Broecker...and many MORE! Enjoy gourmet hors d’oeuvres and desserts from an array of local eateries, cocktails, music and mingling with the stars. Ticket price is $100 for a single ticket. Money raised will fund educational theater programs geared at teaching the ABC's of life: Attitude, Behavior and Character.
