5 consecutive Tuesday Evenings. This introduction course is intended for beginners with no experience. Students will learn the fundamentals of hot glass sculpting and glassblowing with continual emphasis on teamwork and communication. The class will focus on the primary skills needed to create basic shapes from hot glass. Students will learn how to gather molten glass, sculpt small marbles and paperweights, and explore the basics of blown forms such cups and vase. Minimum 3students.
