The Buffalo Bisons jumped on Louisville Bats starter Ryan Feierabend and took advantage of a terrific start from Matt Harvey en route to a 8-0 win Friday night. Buffalo took their third straight from the Bats after losing the first game of the series.

Feierabend gave up seven runs on nine hits in just five innings of work. He gave up home runs to Osvaldo Navarro, Matt Den Dekker, and Josh Rodriguez while getting saddled with his second loss of the season since joining the Bats.

On the flip side, the Bats struggled all night against Harvey. The right hander stifled Bats hitters, giving up just two hits and one walk while recording nine strikeouts.

Louisville also committed three errors in the game, the most they’ve committed in one game this season.

The Bats (31-52) fell to 14-15 in June and lost their chance to record a winning month of baseball, which they haven’t done since April of last season. They fell to 12-42 when their opponent scores first.

The Bats travel home Saturday to open a split six game series against the Indianapolis Indians. Louisville is scheduled to send Chad Reineke (3-5, 4.19 ERA) to the hill against Daniel Cabrera (3-3, 4.78 ERA) of Indianapolis. The Bats will be giving away team photos to the first 2,000 fans through the gates Saturday.
