Back again: The Features bring their roaring, beat driven rock back to Louisvill

This Wednesday, or Thanksgiving Eve, if you will, The Features will return to Louisville. The show is at Headliners Music Hall.

There are countless reasons to love The Features. The band's catchy but quite dirty rock and roll (tainted, of course, with some tasteful synth), two addictive albums, and extremely exciting live performances are just a few. If you live in Louisville, however, there is one extra reason: The Features love you.

Though I have lived in Louisville for less than two years, it seems The Features are featured (no pun intended) on at least one music bill every three months or so. It seems they just cannot stop coming here. And we are indeed thankful for that.

Speaking of being thankful, the next Features show is conveniently scheduled one day before Thanksgiving. This means, of course, that Headliners should be sold out, as most people will not have to work the next day. Its time to live it up!

Living it up at a Features show is never a problem. Though their music quiets rarely in some songs, it does so only to wow the audience with an aggressive, roaring comeback. The band's very beat driven rock, garnished atop with the commanding (and might I say again: roaring) voice of Matt Pelham, never ceases to excite.

The band is touring in support of their newest release Wildnerness. They always come through with the good oldies, though: have no fear.

The show begins at 9 pm, and doors open at 8pm. The Fervor and Whistle Peak will open.
