Executive Chef P S Looi and Pabs Sembillo, co-owners of Asiatique restaurant announce plans for the next Cigar and Bourbon Dinner.
“We are thrilled to partner with J. Shepherd Cigars to host our popular Cigar and Bourbon Dinner series,” announced Pabs Sembillo, co-owner. “Our outdoor deck with its retractable awning makes for the perfect location for this event, rain or shine.”
J. Shepherd Cigars will feature three premium cigar selections from Avo Uvezian Cigars paired with bourbons from Elmer T. Lee, Eagle Rare, and Blantons.
Chef Looi’s delicious 5 course meal pairing will start with diver’s scallop carpaccio, wok sautéed grape and roasted shallot with sake vinaigrette; followed by a second course of red crabmeat wonton on mushroom relish, and peppercorn shrimp. The seafood course will be honey and soy glazed sea bass, garam masala scented roasted summer tomato and curry oil. The meat course will be roasted dry rubbed lamb chop, Malay style beef medallion with a lemongrass and red wine reduction. The dessert course will be lemongrass panna cotta, summer berries ice cream, jasmine rice pudding and fresh fruit compote.
