For many centuries in Southeast Asia, the water festival has been an annual event that celebrates connection of water to all aspects of life: food, agriculture, spirituality, and economic prosperity. It is a time to be thankful for the rivers, lakes and seas that we dep/files/storyimages/upon for livelihood and economic development. Although this festival is traditionally held in spring, or in fall to commemorate the finish of their harvest season, Crane House is welcoming in the summer with this splash of Asian tradition. We invite Louisville’s communities to come together to join in this joyous celebration. This event is possible thanks to a generous sponsorship from The Louisville Water Company and support from the Louisville Metro Office for International Affairs.
