Often times, we forget about how we are unconditionally loved by our best friends - "man's best friend." For the first time ever in Louisville, dogs can join their caregivers in the fight against cancer through the American Cancer Society's Bark for Life. In the fashion of the American Cancer Society's signature fund-raising event, Relay for Life, humans and canines alike will join together in a non-competitive, one-mile walk to raise funds to support the Society's mission. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 10:00 a.m. All participating dogs must be on leashes and have up-to-date vaccinations. Bark for Life is an irresistable way to "take a bite out of cancer." For more information, contact Lisa Brown at 502-560-6011 or at lisa.brown@cancer.org.
