Individuals, corporations, community groups, and others are invited to wear their Derby hats on the job to support the fight against cancer. Those who wear their hats Thursday, April 30, are asked to make a $10 contribution to the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN). ACS CAN, an advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society, is building a grassroots movement to make cancer a national legislative priority. Participants will receive a sticker to let others know they support ACS CAN, and will become members of the organization.
