The Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association has awareness bracelets now available to donors. Similar to the popular yellow "Live Strong" bracelets, there purple silicone wristband are imprinted with "Taking Steps to End Alzheimer's."

The Association has a limited supply of these bracelets and they are a gift to donors making a minimum $4 contribution to the Alzheimer's Association 2005 Memory Walk.

Memory Walk is the largest fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association and proceeds are used to provide programs and services to the over 74,000 families in greater Kentucky and southern Indiana affected by the disease. Services provided include 24-hour telephone help line, support groups, educational programs and advocacy.
