Yonder Alonso knocked in six runs to lead the Louisville Bats to a 12-9 win at Rochester on Saturday night.

Alonso, one of the top minor league prospects in the Cincinnati Reds organization, went 4-for-6 as the Bats banged out 13 hits and ended a three-game losing skid at Frontier Field.

That helped Justin Lehr (1-3) pick up his first victory of the season for Louisville (14-22). He gave up six hits and five earned runs over 5 1/3 innings.

Meanwhile Alonso got the Bats' offense going with an RBI-single in the top of the first. He added a three-run double in the fifth, then added RBI singles in the sixth and eighth innings. He had plenty of offensive help, though.

Chris Burke went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBIs, while Zack Cozart went 3-for-4 with four runs scored and two RBIs, including one on a solo home run in the third.

Glen Perkins (0-5) took the loss for the Red Wings (14-22). he allowed seven hits and seven runs, four of which were earned, over five innings.

The two teams resume their four-game series at 1:05 p.m. Sunday at Rochester.
