The first, annual, Almost Famous Authors' Faire is being held in the historic Galt House Hotel on Nov. 7, 2009. The hours of the fair are 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. There will be no less than 80 authors available to talk with and purchase cherished, autographed novels/books from.

There is also a writing contest being held in conjunction with the show. The winners will be announced at the fair. And the top 30 entries will be published by Bearhead Publishing. The winner in each category will be given a free books. Others may purchase a book, with their entry included, at the show.
