Lifehouse is best known for its mega-hit “Hanging by a Moment” from the 2000 debut CD “No Name Face.” The group’s newest CD, and its fourth overall, is “Who We Are”, featuring the title track plus “First Time”, “Bridges” and “The Joke.”
The legendary Violent Femmes will play the next night, Friday, July 13th at 7:30 PM. The show, presented by Miller Lite, is part of the Fifth Third Bank Friday After Five series, and is also sponsored by Wild Turkey.
The Violent Femmes formed in the early 1980s in years since their beginning, the Femmes have recorded a dozen albums, including last year’s “Live In Iceland.”
The Femmes got their big break when they were discovered by The Pretenders and asked to open a show for them. Since then they have played hundreds of shows all over the world, amassing a large and loyal cult following. And with their music being the soundtrack for teen angst, the band continues to attract new, younger fans.
