The 2nd annual HIGHLAND RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL will take place June 2 through July 22, weekends only, ( rain or shine) 10 a.m.-7 p.m. near Eminence, KY
Throughout the week/files/storyimages/there will be fun and exciting events for the entire family such as: live jousting tournaments; birds of prey show; mud show; jugglers, dancers, acrobats; musicians; over 75 craft booths, knightings, games of skill, human chess and period food and drink.
Offered for the little knights and ladies are an array of games and rides that are all hand powered just as they wood have been during the 14th & 15th centuries. They can also learn to shoot a bow, ride a knight's horse, climb a rope ladder, sp/files/storyimages/time with the fairies in the forest, or just enjoy taking in all of the shows that run continually throughout the day.
Costumes for rent or purchase offered by faire merchants will allow you to become part of the festival and we encourage it. Come and join us for a step back in time to a period when chivalry was the order of the day!

Admission to the faire $12 for adults, children 6-12 $6.00, 5 and under free. Week/files/storyimages/passes are $20 adults, $10 children. Season passes: $55 which includes special parking privileges.
