On Saturday, May 21, the aroma of smoking meats and burgoo will fill the air around Pitt Academy announcing the 27^th Annual Bar-B-Q Pitt Festival.  The award-winning food, outstanding blues music, children’s area and game booths provide something for everyone who enjoys great food and fun!  

The 2010-2011 school year marks Pitt Academy's 61st anniversary of educating children with learning and processing disorders.  Although the techniques for educating its students have changed over the years, the mission of the school remains true to its founder’s belief of providing opportunities for special needs children to succeed.  Pitt Academy is a 501(c-3) non-profit agency.
