On Saturday, Dec. 4 and Sunday, Dec. 5 from noon to 6 p.m., the Old Louisville Information Center will present the 34^th Annual Old Louisville Holiday House Tour, which features visits inside eight elegantly decorated residences and local bed and breakfast inns in the heart of the country’s grandest Victorian neighborhood. During the popular yuletide event, the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum will host a Victorian High Tea each day at the Inn at the Park, 1332 S. 4th Street, with seatings at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 pm. Once again, this year’s tour will offer guests a special treat, as the tea will feature Kentucky-inspired recipes from local author and food writer David Dominé. For those who want to bring the magic of Old Louisville home for the holidays, signed copies of Dominé’s books, including his newest A Feast for the Eyes: Recipes from America’s Grandest Victorian Neighborhood, will be available for sale in the Conrad-Caldwell House’s Holiday Gift Boutique.

Tickets to attend the Victorian High Tea are $20 per person in advance with all proceeds going toward the upkeep and restoration of the Conrad-Caldwell House. A special silent auction to benefit the Old Louisville Information Center in Central Park will feature gingerbread houses created by local bakers and harpist Nancy Stagner will provide the soft strains of Christmas carols that will make this the neighborhood’s most elegant holiday event. The price to attend the Old Louisville Holiday House Tour is $20 in advance or $25 the day of the tour. The Holiday House Tour is the primary fundraiser for the Old Louisville Neighborhood Council and the Old Louisville Information Center in Central Park, and supports its mission of promoting and improving the Old Louisville neighborhood.
