The 2009 Highlands VIP membership card is now available for purchase at about 70 Highlands businesses, online at www.HighlandsVIP.com and through various fundraising programs.  The Highlands VIP Membership card offers special member privileges at about 140 Highlands businesses, including over 40 restaurants.  For a $20 cost, cardholders receive daily discounts at multiple Highlands businesses, all year long.  Some of the participants include:  ValuMarket, Wick’s Pizza, O’Shea’s, Jarfi’s, McDonalds, Subway, ear X-tacy, Speier ACE Hardware, Discoveries, Comedy Caravan and the Swanson Reed Galleries.  Most participating stores have signage and window stickers supporting their participation of the program.  So, next time you are out shopping or dining in the Highlands…look for the “Highlands VIP Membership Cards Proudly Accepted and/or Sold Here” signs.   A website supports the cards and is constantly updated with new offerings to members.  The website is also good for anyone, cardholder or not, wishing to find and learn more about businesses in the Highlands. For more information and a complete list of businesses and the details of their offers, go to: http://www.highlandsvip.com
