Lunchtime Discussion: The Expressions of Faiths in the Context of a Culture
13th Annual Festival of Faiths
St. Joseph Catholic Church
1406 E. Washington Street
Free and open to the public. Reservations required.
This Lunchtime Discussion will explore how culture shapes the expressions of faith in all societies and that in order to understand world religions it is important to reflect on the context of where the religion originated and is lived. Our guide, Fr. David Sanchez, will help us look at how there are many faiths in the world, and all of them dependent upon the socio-political economical aspects of their societies. Bring your own lunch.
Reservations can be made through St. Joseph Catholic Church at (502)583-7401.
