Faith Leaders’ Forum
13 Annual Festival of Faiths
Kentucky International Convention Center
221 South Fourth Street
Reservations required. Free and open to regional Faith Leaders
This follow-up to last February’s Faith Leaders’ Forum will explore this question: What are the key opportunities, questions and challenges for faith communities in restoring religious literacy? This exploration is inspired by Festival guest Stephen Prothero’s ground-breaking book, Religious Literacy:
What Every American Needs to Know — And Doesn’t. Participants are encouraged to attend Stephen’s presentation on Tuesday, November 11 in preparation for this event. During the forum we will discuss the importance of knowledge and understanding of the various faith traditions that make up the local tapestry and, more importantly, we will explore ideas and possibilities for creating a stronger tapestry and a better future.
Seating is limited, contact The Center for Interfaith Relations (502) 583-3100 to make reservations.
This event is part of the 13th Annual Festival of Faiths.
