The Bristol Bar and Grille in Prospect is presenting a four-course dinner celebration on Thursday, May 28 from 5:30-9 p.m. to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. “Dining for a Cause” is an event for women, and the men who love them, to come together and enjoy great food and entertainment while joining in the grassroots network working toward saving lives, ensuring quality care and energizing science in the face of breast cancer. The cost of the dinner is $25, plus tax and gratuity, with $2 from each dinner sold going to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. For reservations, call 502-292-2585.

Louisville Stoneware
Through a partnership with the National Garden Clubs, Inc., Louisville Stoneware is offering a special edition pink birdhouse. They will be taking orders for the birdhouse and have also donated one for a door prize. The birdhouse is available through October 31, 2010 and 10 percent of the retail price from each sold will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Representatives from the Prospect salon will be at the restaurant to offer a selection of their services.
