Live music, food and fun will greet patrons of Brownies ‘The Shed’ who are ready and willing to help children in need of our community.
Members of Louisville’s branch of the Linus Foundation will be at Brownies "The Shed" Bar and Grill on Saturday, October 4th hosting their first annual ‘Cornhole Tournament and Tailgating At The Shed’. Funds raised from cornhole entries ($10 per team), food purchases and raffle tickets ($5 each) will go to the foundation’s national initiative, Night Night Linus.
In coordination with Project Night Night, the Linus Foundation has teamed up to provide ‘Night Night packages’ to homeless and transient children in shelters across the country. The packages are tote bags filled with a stuffed animal, book and blanket.
The Louisville branch will be donating bags to Wayside Christian Mission, Boys Haven, Child Place, Brooklawn and Home of the Innocents.
The Linus Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting fun, innovative programs that educate and empower homeless and underprivileged children, encouraging them to reach the full power of their own potential.
Through the combined focus of highly ambitious young professionals, the Linus Foundation strives to make the lives of needy children better while simultaneously emphasizing that charity can be fun.
