Uspiritus works to heal the hearts and minds of Kentucky's most vulnerable youth & their families. The children we serve need consistency, structure, love and unconditional caring to overcome their pasts and lead successful lives. In 2012, Bellewood Children’s Home merged with Brooklawn Child & Family Services - forming “Uspiritus” and creating a comprehensive continuum of care for vulnerable youth and families. Annually, Uspiritus serves over 1,300 children from all over the state, making us one of the largest youth-caring organization in Kentucky. We provide residential treatment facilities for up to 160 children at a time. In addition to our two Residential Programs, we offer Intensive In-Home Services, Family Preservation Program, Independent Living Program, Therapeutic Foster Care and Adoption. By offering this full continuum of care we are able to help manage and treat mental health disorders while teaching basic and advanced social skills that help build self-esteem, communication, self-awareness and healthy relationships.
