About Me:
The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra (KSO) was founded in the fall of 1992 with an ambitious purpose: to make symphonic music attractive, accessible and affordable to a larger segment of the Northern Kentucky & Greater Cincinnati population. Through varied and balanced thematic programming, unique collaborations and visual enhancements, the KSO has made its presentations entertaining and inclusive. The KSO’s budget has grown from $20,000 to nearly $700,000. Today The KSO reaches nearly 35,000 local residents via live performance, with two of its three series of concerts offered free to students and families. Conerts are offered year round concerts as part of its Subscription (Oct- May), Education (Sept-Apr) and Summer Park Series (July - Sept).
