Up in the painted clouds, four women are depicted in halos and wings, and when you ask the bartender if those are patrons who’ve passed away, she laughs and says, “Everybody asks that. They just like to drink Rosangel tequila.”

    This strip-mall hangout is the best kind of sports bar: sports memorabilia and high-def wherever the eye can see; a Golden Tee arcade game that people actually play; fries smothered in cheese, bacon and ranch dressing; super-cheap buckets of beer.
