The Louisville Bats won their seventh straight game Wednesday night, and their 18th in their last 19th, beating host Toledo 4-3 at Fifth Third Field. The victory pulled Louisville, which was 13 games out of first place in the International League West on the Fourth of July, within a half-game of division-leading Columbus.

The Bats also seven runs in the fifth inning and six in the seventh on their way to their fifth straight win.
For the fifth time in their last seven games, all of which have been on the road, the Louisville Bats hit at least three home runs in a game. They hit four more on Sunday to beat host Gwinnett 8-3.
