Second baseman Dan Uggla has a fan club who called themselves "the Ugglies"- I'm not even making that up. That alone was a good enough reason to highlight the Louisvillian by birth in today's Sports legends of the Ville story.
Although the area wasn't represented in Tuesday night's Major League Baseball All-Star Game at least a couple players with local ties were worthy of it.
