The University of Louisville women's basketball team blitzed BYU 86-53 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday afternoon in Tampa, Fla. The Cards will face host South Florida at 9 p.m. Monday night in the second round.
In his seven seasons University of Louisville women's basketball coach Jeff Walz has guided the Cardinals to five Sweet 16s, three Elite Eights, two Final Fours and two national runner-up finishes in six trips to the NCAA Tournament. He'll try to add to that this month. The Cardinals play BYU at 4 p.m. Saturday in their first-round game.
