Much to the shock of many the Louisville Cardinals made it to the NCAA women's championship game; despite coming up short against UConn; the team seems poised to do something really special in upcoming years.
Tuesday evening, the Cardinals women's basketball team took on the UConn Huskie. Louisville.com, hoping lightning would strike twice, spent some time at O'Shea's near Baxter and Bardstown in an attempt to capture a few photos of this momentous occasion.
Like their male counterparts the University of Louisville women's basketball team has reached the NCAA championship game where they'll square off with Connecticut on Tuesday.
