Of all the red-letter occasions local trainer Dale Romans considers worth celebrating, none comes close to the thought of winning Derby Day.
Dale Romans won his first Triple Crown race two weeks ago when his horse, Shackleford, won the Preakness Stakes. Romans will attempt to gain his second Triple Crown win when he takes Shackleford to the Belmont Stakes this Saturday. In the midst of all of this, Romans took few minutes to talk with a fellow Louisvillian.
