Trick or
Treat in the Village is a fun family event allowing children to collect
goodies from all the tenants in a safe environment. A Halloween Costume
Contest is scheduled for 7:30 pm.

For the adults from 6-9 pm, Westport Whiskey & Wine will host a
special Halloween Tasting of Spirits, and the restaurants will feature
Halloween themed menu items. Over 30 of Louisville’s finest home
specialists are participating in Louisville's Finest Home Renovation
Road Show EXPO with displays in the South Village to discuss home
renovation projects from windows, doors, custom trim, bathrooms,
kitchens, fireplaces, garages, basements and interior design.

Do you have
an inner she-devil? Perhaps you’ve always wanted to show your city
pride by dressing up as your favorite local character. Browning’s
Restaurant and Brewery has an event that has all bases covered with the
“Vixens and Ville-ains” Halloween Eve party on Friday, Oct. 30 from 7
to 11 p.m. The cost is $20 at the door and will benefit J. Graham Brown
Cancer Center. The cover charge pays for an appetizer buffet created by
chef Anoosh Shariat and a goody bag. DJ Matt Anthony from WFPK will
keep the party hopping. Drinks are available at the cash bar. Tickets
can be bought in advance by calling (502) 515-0174.

While all guests are encouraged to dress up in costume as their
favorite vixen or Louisville celebrity, those who want to rock out can
compete in the costume contest at 8 p.m. Special guest judges David
Dominé, author of Ghosts of Old Louisville and Haunts of Old
Louisville, The Voice Tribune’s Angie Fenton and Karen Shane from
Republic National Distributing Company will decide who gets to take
home the grand prize: a limited edition Southern Comfort electric
guitar.
