Asmussen stated Sunday that both Lucky Player and Bold Conquest exited the Iroquois in good order. He said he would likely separate the pair and possibly run one at Keeneland next month.

Bred by Destiny Oaks of Ocala, Lucky Player, the son of Preakness 135 winner Lookin At Lucky, is owned by Jerry Durant. The victory was the colt’s second and first stakes win. His career record now moves to two wins and a second in four starts and his earnings increased to $115,691.

Lucky Player returned $25.00, $8.40, and $5.60. Bold Conquest paid $6.00 and $4.20 and completed the $2 exacta for $114.40. Hashtag Bourbon paid $3.60 and completed the $2 trifecta for $620.20. Danny Boy completed the $2 superfecta for $3,619.80. The final time for the 1 1/16 mile race over the fast dirt was 1:45.76.
