The third and fourth choices among the individual interests have yet to make their first starts as 3-year-olds. McGaughey’s Remsen winner, Honor Code, has been installed as the third choice at odds of 10-1 and Jerry Hollendorfer’s 2-Year-Old Eclipse Champion, Shared Belief, is in fourth position at odds of 12-1. Although Honor Code has a record of recent works and 14 points on the Road to the Kentucky leaderboard, Shared Belief has not worked since Jan. 3 and has no points on the Road to the Kentucky Derby leaderboard. Shared Belief has suffered foot issues which have prevented him from working or racing, but his connections have not declared him off the Kentucky Derby trail. At this point, he would have to hit the board in a Grade 1 or Grade 2 race to earn enough points to make the Kentucky Derby field, and that's asking a lot of a young horse with those issues.

Many contenders that appeared in Pool 1 or Pool 2 are back in Pool 3. The newcomers in Pool 3, with odds, are: Albano (30-1), Bayern (15-1), Constitution (20-1), General a Rod (20-1), Kobe’s Back (20-1), Tamarando (30-1), and Wildcat Red (20-1).

The Kentucky Derby Future Wager Pool 3 closes just before post-time of Saturday’s Gotham Stakes (G3), which is scheduled to run at 4:17 p.m. EST.

Installed as the co-morning-line favorites in the Kentucky Oaks Wager Pool is the “All Others” option and Steve Asmussen’s Rachel Alexandra (G3) winner Untapable, at odds of 6-1. Tied for third choice in the individual interests, at odds of 8-1, is Dallas Stewart’s Silverbulletday Stakes winner Unbridled Forever and Todd Pletcher’s unbeaten winner of the Davona Dale (G2) and Forward Gal (G2), Onlyforyou.

The Kentucky Oaks Future Wager Pool closes just before post-time of Saturday’s Santa Ysabel (G3), which is scheduled to run at 6 p.m. EST.

A complete list of the 24 betting interests, plus real-time odds and past performances provided by Brisnet, for the Kentucky Derby Future Wager and Kentucky Oaks Future Wager can be found on the official Kentucky Derby website.
