If you’re anything like me, you’re already wondering how you’re going to spend New Year’s Eve, that ultimate holiday that celebrates not only the end of a year, but the end of a stressful season. I’m certainly excited about the number of top-notch Louisville restaurants that will be offering special meals for NYE, and Cena is among them.
Cena, downstairs from the ever-packed Mussel & Burger Bar, has two options for you this NYE. Early birds who are willing to be seated at 5 p.m. can order a 3-course tasting menu for $35 per person.
For those eating later in the evening, a $50 4-course meal will be available. I chatted with Chef Allan Rosenburg about this menu, and he told me people should be particularly excited, as the “steak rossini will have foie gras truffles.” He was equally enthusiastic about the dessert optons: “the goat cheese flan is a Fernando classic, it’s been around for awhile but it’s just SO good.”
