2. Bourbon Barrel Foods [7] makes every kind of bourbon barrel finished spice you can think of. There’s a store in Butchertown, a new one on Frankfort Avenue will open in January. Until then, you can pick up their wares at local Liquor Barns, A Taste of Kentucky, Evergreen Liquors, and many other locally owned retail shops [8], as well as their website.

3. Art Eatables [10] makes the only bourbon truffles that match the cocoa with each unique type of bourbon. These are hands down my favorite bourbon candy around. They are available on Amazon [11]or at their shop on 4th Street.

4. Whiskey books are a great resource for those wanting to know more about where their bourbon comes from. My top recommendations are Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey: An American Heritage [13] by Michael Veach and Whiskey Women: The Untold Story of How Women Saved Bourbon, Scotch, and Irish Whiskey [14] by Fred Minnick.
