Barr Memorial Library [5] in Fort Knox
Patrons can meet bestselling author Gregg Hurwitz today at 12pm. Check out all the offerings the Barr Memorial Library [6] has going on, they are very interactive with their community.
Bullitt County Public Library [7]
Toddler Storytime [8] and StoryHour [9] begins on Tuesday, September 9. These programs are free and are for children birth to age 2 and ages 3-5 for each story type. Registration is required.
Thursday, September 11, 5pm-7:30pm – Ridgeway Memorial Library [7] is hosting a Resource Night for middle school students and parents.
Jeffersonville Township Public Library [10]
Friday, September 12, 2pm-3pm – A concert will be put on by The Silvertoners; it’s in the North Program Room.
Louisville Free Public Library [11]
Construction and progress is still ongoing on the new Southwest Regional Library. Just the other day, the Library posted photos of thousands (more than 50,000 to be exact!) of new books arriving to line the new bookshelves.

New Albany-Floyd County Public Library [15]
Tuesday, September 9, 6pm – You’re invited to the Library’s Local Authors Fair tonight. All of your favorite genres will be covered and you can find out more about the authors’ newest projects. Refreshments will be served.
Oldham County Public Library [16]
Saturday, September 13, 1pm-2pm – PAWS to Read is a program designed for children to read to a canine companion at the library. It’s a 15 minute session and you can register online.
Shelby County Public Library [17]
The library in Shelbyville hosts many different programs such as storytimes, Zumba, yoga, line dancing, family movies, game days, and more. See their calendar [18] for more information.
Spencer County Public Library [19]
The library in Taylorsville hosts programs such as storytime, teen groups, crochet Wii bowling, and family movie nights. See their calendar [20] for more information.
