The Food Literacy Project is a fantastic local charity dedicated to educating kids about where their food comes from, and what real, farm-grown food looks and tastes like. A great chance to show your support for this cause is attending The Food Literacy Project's fifth annual Field-to-Fork dinner at the Clifton Center on Thursday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m. You can get tickets to this five-course meal for $110, and that includes featured cocktails courtesy of Beam Suntory, Inc. and Tequila Herradura; beer provided by New Albanian Brewing Company; passed hors d’oeuvres; and a five-course plated dinner with wine pairings, courtesy of Horseshoe Bend Vineyard and Winery.

Seasonal ingredients will be provided by Field Day Family Farm at Oxmoor, the Louisville 8-acre vegetable farm that plays host to the Food Literacy Project, along with Grateful Greens, Holden Farm, Capriole Goat Cheese, Inc., Louisville Fish Company, and Rainbow Blossom Natural Food Markets.
