Horse Races Now: This app has been the technological baby of trainer Kenny McPeek and his ex-wife Sue Lustig McPeek. The pair has largely marketed the app in somewhat of a grassroots campaign over the last few years. Sue McPeek even approached me and other race fans at the 2012 Kentucky Derby to tell us about the app. Since then the app has developed into a great tool that practically combines the best features of all its competitors' apps. Not only does it allow you to access Equibase race entries and results, it provides video streaming to live racing for tracks that allow it and can link you to your online wagering account to place a bet. The app also allows you to set alerts so that you won't miss a race. This app is always improving and providing access to more features horse racing fans want. The latest feature addition is access to the current news from turf publications around the globe. This app is available for Apple and Android devices.
